The Spanish Delish Export family business wasn’t born in a boardroom…

It all started about ten years ago at my niece’s wedding in Melbourne, when my new nephew and I got a bit carried away chatting about the idea of bringing fresh Spanish garlic to Australia. Probably not the best timing, but that moment marked the beginning of our venture into the world of exporting premium Spanish produce.
Since that day, we’ve built up a network of great suppliers all over Spain, offering the finest local fresh produce. We’re lucky to work directly with people who grow and make incredible stuff like Iberian ham from Guijuelo, Manchego cheese from Albacete, olives and olive oil from Andalusia, and tasty canned seafood from Galicia, to name just a few. Through this journey, we’ve learned a lot about why local quality matters and have gained a comprehensive understanding of all the nuances involved in exporting food products internationally.

After a quieter spell, my sister who lives in Australia and I here in Spain, realised it would be a shame to keep all this good food just in Europe and the US, and we resumed exports to Australia again.

Honestly, we just love delicious food. Visiting new suppliers and sampling their stuff has always been the best part of this journey. Spanish Delish Export is all about sharing top-notch quality at prices that won’t break the bank—and bringing the taste of Spain to Australia and beyond.

Our finest jamon comes from 100% Iberian pigs, raised in the wild where they roam and forage freely, ensuring the highest quality and flavour in their meat. The Iberian pigs are nourished with a bespoke diet of acorns and wild plants during their montanera growth phase, which results in a truly unique and delicious nutty flavour.
